Many followers realize I love the Grafton and used to go every year. Have tried to just get over some races where possible. Will start just with some thoughts on Wednesday.
RACE 3:
Feel the #10 and #11 look the main hopes and market has it right. MISS DYNAMO is lightly raced and made good late ground at both runs to date. With even luck in running should be right in the money again. LOST ILLUSIONS is a consistent type in a great stable. No star but well placed in this sort of race.

RACE 4:
MY MUMS TOYBOY looks to be the one with the most upside and recent trial was good. Has the ability to sit on speed and be very hard to run past in this. There are a few at big prices that could run well. SINGLE ATTRACTION is $19 and showed a good turn of foot last start in an easier race. Is consistent and at that price I have to have a small interest.

Race 5 No.1 BARAZIN $4
Overseas horse who had a year off. Well beaten fresh and made sharp improvement 2nd up at Wyong. No luck at all the whole straight and should have won. Will strip lengths fitter from that, maps well and is the one who can jump out of the ground. Putting the apprentice on while some top jockeys are in town is the only query for me and no idea why they went down that path.

Race 7 THE RAMORNIE 1200m
Not the best edition and think NSW Racing need to do something to lift this carnival back up. Instead of MILLIONS to boost multi-million $ races, maybe through $200k at clubs like Grafton, Scone, Wagga etc for their 2 day carnivals for trainer bonuses and ways to boost fields.
PEREILLE is airborne. Was a 4L winner two back and then no luck last start and should have won again. In the Godolphin camp and a recent trail looked very good too. Timed to the minute for this but the $2.10 is short enough. BEZIQUE is the one who can be the leader and be the one they all have to run on. Gollan places them beautifully and this will look the winner at the 150m. Out of traffic and out of trouble on speed.
