PRIDE OF JENNI Will do what she does. Find the front, try to find her tempo nd get the rest of them off the bit and chasing. Not only does it suit her but it puts pressure on the other horses and their jockeys. Not many others can absorb that sort of pressure. She is in the best stable and she will be timed to the minute for this.
The Japanese horse PROGNOSIS is one the pressure won’t worry. He’s a beauty, Narrow 2nd to Romantic Warrior two starts ago, that horse is a freak and won this race last year. Serious horse and he can win for sure.
Many will come for MR BRIGHTSIDE, arguably the most consistent G1 horse in OZ. He’s a beauty, I do rather him at 1600m but has landed in the money over this trip at the highest level.
The 3yr olds are always wildcards in this race with the light weights. BROADSIDING is one of the most exciting 3yr olds in the country. The Guineas wasn’t run to suit and the effort was excellent (Ran BEST L400m and 200m of the race that day. With any luck in running he can get over them late.
Not selling EVAPORATE short either. His efforts all prep have been great, loves this track and has a great action.
